Place Value Unit
In this unit we will be looking at the place value of numbers smaller than 1 and larger than a million. We will discuss extremely large and small numbers, how we use them and how we conceptualize them. Students will learn to read, write and understand these extreme numbers in their various forms.

- Explain the pattern in the place value system
- Read, Write, and describe numbers in all their forms (standard, expanded, numerical)
- Round numbers to a specific place value
